Ellie Freeman ASID
Ellie Freeman, founder and president of Freeman Interiors, Ltd., graduated from Cornell with a degree in Design and Environmental Analysis. She is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and was the first female bonded as a general contractor in Onondaga County. Ellie was honored by Baron’s “Who’s Who in Interior Design.” She has designed the interiors of many model homes across upstate New York, including Mallards’ Landing, City Lights Development, Spy Glass Hill, Parade of Homes, Boulder Heights, Wildcreek, Briar Brook, and Brittany Hills. Her philosophy of providing excellent personalized service and unique resources draws clients to Freeman Interiors. Ellie has served on the Syracuse University Advisory Board for continuing Education. She is a patron of the performing and visual arts in the Central New York community, including Syracuse Symphony, Syracuse Stage, Syracuse Opera, and the MOST (Museum of Science and Technology).
Joyce E. McCartney
Joyce McCartney earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kent State University. Joyce brings 30 years of design experience, and has worked as a designer for Freeman Interiors since 1993. She won several Parade of Homes design awards from the Syracuse Home Builders Association, and was a featured designer in Central New York Magazine for a kitchen project that highlighted her abilities to manage a complex project from design concept to completion. By taking current trends and giving them a fresh classic twist, Joyce designs contemporary and traditional residential interiors, layering clients’ existing pieces with new purchases to create environments that are eclectic, warm and livable. The scope of her work has included projects in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Missouri, South Carolina, Florida and New Jersey, encompassing work as diverse as home, office, restaurant and yacht design. Her goal is to surround her clients with comfort, providing them with a unique and flexible environment that will withstand the test of time.

Beth Freeman-Warren ASID
Beth Freeman-Warren graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Design and Environmental Analysis. She is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Beth has been practicing the art of interior design at Freeman Interiors for 25 years. Beth’s scope of projects range from residential to commercial, and has made her design imprint from Massachusetts to Florida. She interprets the client’s interior surroundings and significant personal belongings to achieve their dreams and aspirations. Beth acknowledges the use of the space, the clients’ style, a color palette and comfort, always keeping in mind the interior and exterior architectural elements. Whether home, office, retail and hospitality she is passionate about each project and creates designs that will be unique and timeless. “I live and breathe my work!”
